DIY waste disposal: How much should it cost to get rid of waste from home improvement, DIY and tradesman work?
DIY waste disposal prices
Below are recent examples of what licensed waste collectors are charging to remove and dispose of a wide range of bulky waste from repairs and home improvement work, including old kitchens, bathroom rip-outs, flooring, tiles, sheds, rubble and fridges.
Collection rates range from as little as £20 to £300 and depend on the amount, weight and type of waste, how much labour was involved in clearing it, and when the collection needed doing.
Some of these prices look crazy cheap, but that’s because a waste collector happened to be passing pretty much at the exact same time the lucky customer wanted it removed – which meant that the normal call-out/travel cost could be removed!
